Donald Gary Young
Donald Gary Young (born July 11, 1949) is an American entrepreneur and writer who is known as the founder, president and former CEO of Young Living, a multi-level marketing company which sells essential oils and related products.
==Personal life==
Young was born on July 11, 1949 in Salmon, Idaho, raised in Challis, Idaho and graduated from the Challis High School. After graduation, he moved to Canada, where he was granted land via the Homestead Act of British Columbia. According to Young, at age 24 he suffered a near–fatal accident that left him in a wheelchair.〔 While rehabilitating, he became interested in alternative medicine, which, eventually, led him to experiment with the use of essential oils to relieve his pain.〔 Young is married to Mary Billeter, with whom he has two sons, Jacob and Josef.
